What I Read
I don't really read books that a college graduate should read. But what are you going to do?

This is Where I Leave You
This Is Where I Leave You
“What really knocks me out is a book that, when you're all done reading it, you wish the author that wrote it was a terrific friend of yours and you could call him up on the phone whenever you felt like it. That doesn't happen much, though.”
- Holden Caulfield
Holden said it best, as always. I really like this book. I liked all of the characters, I liked the plot, I liked the dynamic. Everything.
I'd tell everyone to read it. There's nothing I like more in a book than when you feel completely connected to a character. Not that I'm in my early 30's and my wife is cheating on me and my whole life is in a shamble, but the fact that I can empathize with the protagonist. I don't normally feel that way. This guy, Judd is so sad and down that you sort of start to feel sad and down. And he has no hope. All he has is a bunch of anger in a jar that he sealed up and carries around and at the end is still has it, but he also has an open jar of optimism.
Just read this. You'll like it.
